Mindfulness Ireland

Dear Friends,

You have probably heard that our beloved teacher Thich Nhat Hanh experienced a brain hemorrhage on the 11th of November, and remains in hospital in a coma.  There are a lot of rumours circulating around the internet, so we suggest you refer only to official statements on the Plum Village website or else follow the Thich Nhat Hanh page on Facebook.

The latest update is from the 13th of December, and can be found here.

An excerpt from this letter reads:

During the holiday season, please take some time off to take care of yourself, your loved ones, and friends. Find time to be with nature, to enjoy the stars, and the white clouds and to truly come home and be at home within ourselves, as Thay always encourages us to do. You may like to write love letters instead of spending money and consuming more. The New Year is a wonderful opportunity to begin anew with ourselves and let go of resentments and regret.

With deep gratitude for his teachings, sending loving energy to Thay,

Mindfulness Ireland

Thay
