Sangha Directory
A sangha is a practice group or community. If you are surrounded by sangha, you have the chance to sit together, to learn together, and to strengthen your practice.
“Building brotherhood and sisterhood is the foundation of the sangha, and if the sangha is happy, then it can be a refuge for so many people.” Thay.
Here is a contact list for Thich Nhat Hanh inspired sanghas in Ireland. Each sangha will have its own unique flavour. How each sangha functions and what it offers is a reflection of its uniqueness.

Wake-Up
Wake Up Dublin is a community of young people in Dublin cultivating mindful living. We are inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. However, we explore various forms of mindfulness practice.
We meet weekly, alternating between Friday and Sunday. Each meeting is facilitated by two members of our group and tends to follow this structure:
The first part of the meeting is dedicated to mindful practice, generally inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh teachings, amongst others guided and silent sitting meditation, mindful walking, mindful movement and reading the 5 Mindfulness Trainings.
In the second part we practice Dharma sharing. This may include readings and videos that members of the group find inspirational for their mindfulness practice as well as sharing of experiences and questions around mindfulness in our daily lives. This gives the last hour of the meetup a special flavour of openness and acceptance.
For information on the international Wake Up Movement, go to http://www.wkup.org/
We welcome young people between the ages of 18 and mid to late thirties.
Location:every second Friday, 7.30 pm @ Oscailt, 8 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4,
every second Sunday, 7.00 pm in one of our homes.
